Pack Korea-origin parcels for export handling

Use this guide when the shipment enters the Korea warehouse flow. Good packing protects parcels during intake, consolidation, export sorting, and the final international leg.

Packing standard

The packing standard SchnellKorea expects

Korea-origin parcels often go through intake, photo check, repacking, and outbound export handling. That means weak outer boxes, loose fillers, and unlabeled mixed contents create avoidable delays and damage risk.

Step 01

Choose a rigid outer box

Use a box that leaves enough space for cushioning without letting contents move in transit.

For heavier goods or mixed orders, double-wall boxes are safer than thin retail cartons.

Step 02

Cushion each product by category

Wrap fragile or liquid items individually before grouping them into one shipment.

Cosmetics, ceramics, and electronics should never rely on one shared layer of bubble wrap.

Step 03

Seal for warehouse handling

Reinforce seams and corners so the parcel survives intake scans, shelf movement, and export sorting.

Use strong packing tape and remove or cover any old labels on reused boxes.

Step 04

Label contents clearly in the shipment request

The declaration should match what staff see when they verify the parcel inside the warehouse.

If the outside says one product type but the declaration says another, manual review is likely.

Special handling

Items that need special packing attention

Glass, ceramics, and collectibles

Use separate inner wrapping, corner protection, and enough filler to prevent contact between items.

Liquids and skincare

Seal the cap, use a waterproof inner bag, and isolate the product from paper goods or textiles.

Shoes, apparel, and mixed soft goods

Soft goods can compress, but they still need moisture protection and a declaration that matches the mixed parcel contents.

Checklist

Packaging rejection triggers

  • Loose items moving freely inside the box.
  • Old shipping labels still visible on the carton.
  • Retail product boxes used as the only outer packaging.
  • Mixed fragile goods packed without individual cushioning.

Next step

Unsure whether repacking is needed?

Ask support before export if the parcel contains fragile, oversized, or high-value items that may need reinforced packing or manual inspection.
