Denmark delays – Standard service parcels by road – DPD/GLS/FedEx/DHL economy

There are currently increasing delays on shipments to Denmark. The cause lies with roadworks in Germany at two points along the route to the ferry. Additional waiting times are also occurring at the ferry departure point because vehicles have to queue and wait. In most cases, they miss the connection and have to wait for the next ferry. Depending on pickup and drop-off locations, as well as planned schedules and connections, shipments with standard parcel services by road are arriving at 2–5 days later than the indicated transit times for Denmark. Shipments to other Scandinavian countries that pass through Denmark to reach Sweden, Norway, or Finland may also be affected. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
